\/>\n\u4eca\u5e745\u6708\uff0c<strong>AutoWave<\/strong>\u6a2a\u7a7a\u51fa\u4e16\uff0c\u663e\u8457\u7f13\u89e3\u4e86\u8fd9\u4e00\u96be\u9898\uff08\u8be6\u89c1 <a href=\"link\">\u300aAutoWave\u81ea\u52a8\u9009\u6ce2\u53ca\u4eba\u5de5\u6ce2\u751f\u6210\u5de5\u5177\u64cd\u4f5c\u6f14\u793a\u300b<\/a> \u548c <a href=\"link\">\u300a\u81ea\u52a8\u9009\u6ce2\u7a0b\u5e8fAutoWave\u66f4\u65b0\u65e5\u5fd7\u300b<\/a>\uff09\u3002\u8be5\u5de5\u5177\u5df2\u5728\u516c\u53f8\u5185\u90e8\u5168\u9762\u5e94\u7528\uff0c\u6700\u65b0\u7248\u672c\u89e3\u51b3\u4e86\u8bf8\u591a\u5386\u53f2\u9057\u7559\u95ee\u9898\u3002\u7136\u800c\uff0c\u6ce2\u5f62\u9009\u62e9\u4ecd\u5b58\u5728\u5927\u91cf\u503c\u5f97\u63a2\u8ba8\u7684\u69fd\u70b9\u3002\u4ee5\u4e0b\u4e3a\u4e2a\u4eba\u6d45\u89c1\uff0c\u6b22\u8fce\u8d28\u7591\u4e0e\u8865\u5145\u3002<\/p>\n<hr \u9009\u6ce2\u771f\u7684&#8221;\u9760\u8c31&#8221;\u5417\uff1f<\/h4>\n<p>&#8220;\u9760\u8c31&#8221;\u672c\u4e49\u6307\u503c\u5f97\u4fe1\u8d56\uff0c\u800c\u672c\u6587\u7684&#8221;\u8c31&#8221;\u7279\u6307<strong>\u89c4\u8303\u53cd\u5e94\u8c31<\/strong>\u3002\u6839\u636e\u89c4\u8303\u8981\u6c42\uff0c\u5730\u9707\u6ce2\u9700\u6ee1\u8db3\uff1a  <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>\u53cd\u5e94\u8c31\u5339\u914d<\/strong>\uff1a\u6ce2\u5f62\u8f6c\u6362\u540e\u7684\u53cd\u5e94\u8c31\u5728\u7ed3\u6784\u4e3b\u5468\u671f\u70b9\u7684\u5e45\u503c\u504f\u5dee\u9700\u63a7\u5236\u5728\u00b120%\u4ee5\u5185\uff1b  <\/li>\n<li><strong>\u57fa\u5e95\u526a\u529b\u7ea6\u675f<\/strong>\uff1a  <\/li>\n<li><strong>\u57fa\u5e95\u526a\u529b\u77db\u76fe<\/strong>\uff1a\u6ce2\u5f62\u543b\u5408\u4f46\u526a\u529b\u4e0d\u7b26\u7684\u60c5\u51b5\u9891\u53d1\uff0c\u5c24\u5176\u542b\u88d9\u623f\/\u5730\u4e0b\u5ba4\u65f6\uff08\u8be6\u89c1\u7b2c4\u8282\uff09\u3002<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>\u89c4\u8303\u6eaf\u6e90<\/h5>\n<h6>\u300a\u9ad8\u5c42\u5efa\u7b51\u6df7\u51dd\u571f\u7ed3\u6784\u6280\u672f\u89c4\u7a0b\u300b\uff08JGJ3-2010\uff09\u30104.3.4\u3011<\/h6>\n<p>\u5f39\u6027\u65f6\u7a0b\u5206\u6790\u9002\u7528\u4e8e\uff1a  <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u9ad8\u5ea6>100m\u6216\u8d28\u91cf\/\u521a\u5ea6\u4e0d\u89c4\u5219\u7ed3\u6784\uff1b  <\/li>\n<li>\u7532\u7c7b\u5efa\u7b51\u53ca\u590d\u6742\u7ed3\u6784\uff1b \/>\n<strong>\u6096\u8bba<\/strong>\uff1a\u82e5\u4ec5\u4ee5CQC\u4e3a\u6807\u51c6\u7b5b\u9009\u5730\u9707\u6ce2\uff0c\u662f\u5426\u8fdd\u80cc\u4e86\u65f6\u7a0b\u5206\u6790\u7684\u8865\u5145\u610f\u4e49\uff1f\u4e3a\u4f55\u4e0d\u76f4\u63a5\u91c7\u7528\u7edf\u4e00\u653e\u5927\u7cfb\u6570\uff1f<\/p>\n<hr \u9009\u6ce2\uff1a\u6c42\u5927\u8fd8\u662f\u6c42\u5c0f\uff1f<\/h4>\n<p>\u89c4\u8303\u5141\u8bb8\u5728\u5408\u7406\u8303\u56f4\u5185\u9009\u62e9\u6ce2\u5f62\u5e45\u503c\uff0c\u5f15\u53d1\u4e89\u8bae\uff1a \/>\n<h4>3. \u5f39\u6027\u4e0e\u5f39\u5851\u6027\u7ed3\u679c\u7684&#8221;\u5927\u5c0f\u4e4b\u4e89&#8221;<\/h4>\n<p>\u4e13\u5bb6\u5ba1\u67e5\u4f1a\u5e38\u63d0\u53ca<strong>\u5927\u9707\u5f39\u5851\u6027\u57fa\u5e95\u526a\u529b\u5e94\u4e3a\u5c0f\u9707CQC\u76843~5\u500d<\/strong>\uff0c\u4f46\u8fd1\u5e74\u5173\u6ce8\u6e10\u5c11\u3002<br \/>\n<strong>\u6838\u5fc3\u77db\u76fe<\/strong>\uff1a  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u5f39\u6027\u5206\u6790\u7ed3\u679c\u901a\u5e38\u5927\u4e8e\u5f39\u5851\u6027\uff0c\u4f46\u521a\u5ea6\u9000\u5316\u53ef\u80fd\u5bfc\u81f4\u5468\u671f\u5ef6\u957f\u3001\u6fc0\u52b1\u589e\u5f3a\uff1b If interested, it is recommended to save or read it carefully.)<\/em>  <\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Challenges in Exceedance Design: Seismic Wave Selection<\/h2>\n<p>Every tower&#8217;s exceedance design requires <strong>elastic time-history analysis for minor earthquakes<\/strong> and <strong>elasto-plastic time-history analysis for major earthquakes<\/strong>. The most challenging step? <strong>Seismic wave selection<\/strong> \u2014 colleagues often spend significant effort on this, yet the selected waveforms barely meet standards.  <\/p>\n<p>In May, <strong>AutoWave<\/strong> emerged, significantly alleviating this pain point (see <a href=\"link\">AutoWave Wave Selection &#038; Artificial Wave Generation Demo<\/a> and <a href=\"link\">AutoWave Update Log<\/a>). This tool is now widely adopted internally, with its latest version resolving many historical issues. However, numerous technical gripes remain. Below are my personal reflections \u2014 open to critique and supplementation.  <\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5>1. Does Wave Selection Rely on the &#8220;Spectrum&#8221;?<\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;Reliable&#8221; (literally &#8220;rely on spectrum&#8221;) here refers to compliance with <strong>design response spectra<\/strong>. According to codes:  <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Spectrum Matching<\/strong>: The waveform&#8217;s converted response spectrum must align with the structural period at critical points, with amplitude deviations \u2264\u00b120%.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>Base Shear Constraints<\/strong>:  \n<ul>\n<li>Single-wave base shear: 65\u2013135% of CQC (Code Spectrum Method) results.  <\/li>\n<li>Multi-wave average: 80\u2013120% of CQC.  <\/li>\n<li>Duration and time intervals must also comply.  <\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>![Example of AutoWave wave selection for a 150m frame-core structure]  <\/p>\n<h6>Practical Challenges<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Long-Period Structures<\/strong>: In Shenzhen, super high-rises (>100m) often have periods >2.5s, lying in the spectrum&#8217;s descending segment \u2014 long-period waves are scarce.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>Scaling Traps<\/strong>: Scaling factors may force matching at critical periods, but calculated results may still be unreasonable.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>Base Shear Mismatches<\/strong>: Spectrally matched waveforms often fail to meet shear requirements, especially with podiums\/substructures (see Section 4).  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>Code Origins<\/h6>\n<h6><em>Technical Code for Concrete Structures of Tall Buildings<\/em> (JGJ3-2010) [4.3.4]<\/h6>\n<p>Elastic time-history analysis applies to:  <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Structures >100m or with irregular mass\/stiffness.  <\/li>\n<li>Class-A buildings and complex structures.  <\/li>\n<li>Vertically irregular structures.  <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h6>Clause Interpretation<\/h6>\n<p>The goal is <strong>supplemental verification of member forces and reinforcement adjustments<\/strong> \u2014 if time-history results exceed CQC, local member forces must be amplified.<br \/>\n<strong>Paradox<\/strong>: If wave selection relies on CQC compliance, does this undermine the purpose of time-history analysis? Why not apply a unified amplification factor directly?  <\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5>2. Wave Amplitude: Bigger or Smaller?<\/h5>\n<p>Codes allow flexibility in selecting wave amplitudes, sparking debate:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Conservatives<\/strong>: Advocate larger amplitudes for safety.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>Pragmatists<\/strong>: Argue story-shear adjustment factors suffice \u2014 no need to\u53e0\u52a0 time-history amplification.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>My Stance<\/strong>: Earthquakes are random; code-compliant selection is sufficient. If a large-amplitude wave is randomly chosen, amplify CQC results as required.  <\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5>3. Elastic vs. Elasto-Plastic Results: Which is Larger?<\/h5>\n<p>Experts often cite a <strong>3\u20135x ratio between major earthquake base shear (elasto-plastic)<\/strong> and minor earthquake CQC results. However, this is fading from scrutiny.<br \/>\n<strong>Core Contradictions<\/strong>:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Elastic results typically exceed elasto-plastic ones, but stiffness degradation may lengthen periods and amplify excitation.  <\/li>\n<li>Outcomes heavily depend on selected waves.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Graham H. Powell&#8217;s Warning<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8220;Nonlinear analysis aims not for precise simulation but for design-informing insights. Models need not be perfect, but sufficiently accurate.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<h5>4. Podium\/Substructure: To Include or Not?<\/h5>\n<p>Structures with podiums\/substructures face dilemmas:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Root Problem<\/strong>: Current software inadequately handles podium\/substructure impacts on base shear.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>Solutions<\/strong>:  \n<ul>\n<li>Recommend <strong>excluding substructures<\/strong>.  <\/li>\n<li>For large podiums, include only <strong>2 spans<\/strong> (full podiums inflate upper tower shear forces).  <\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h5>5.
